Today I was awarded the STIFT prize 2009 (1500 EUR) for an excellent application orientated dissertation. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there personally, but my former supervisor Prof. Achim Ilchmann was so kind to collect the prize for me at the Innovation Day Thuringia 2009 in Erfurt.
